Quilling is art where strips of paper are rolled, shaped and glued together to create decorative designs. 1st graders created these amazing paper sculptures over the course of two class periods.  I mounted them to poster board using hot glue. I think this might be one of my favorite projects all year! It was so fun watching the kids experiment and try and create the variety of shapes and lines they know.
